New Moon in Gemini 🌘♊
This New Moon invites us to re-imagine everything. Gemini takes nothing for granted. They view the world with potential for change at any given moment. If something could change for you right now…if you could shift your perspective somehow or receive new information…what would that be? This is what Gemini invites.
All of that is true for any New Moon in Gemini, but I’d like to suggest that this Moon is a bit extra. Jupiter has just made it’s way into it’s year long jaunt into Gemini, so for the next year, we are all being asked to expand our curiosity and open our minds. And as of right now, it’s all still fresh and exciting, perhaps adding even more Gemini excitement and flair to the mix. In addition to Jupiter, Mercury is there as well, asking us to think like a Gemini, listen like a Gemini and speak like a Gemini. Friends…we are being called to open our damn minds. All of us! Get curious, ask questions, seek out new information and take in information without judging it.
But let’s get back the Moon. All New Moons exist when the Sun and Moon are conjunct. This will happen on June 6, 2024 at 5:37 am PDT. The energies of the Sun & Moon merge and that is why we set New Moon Intentions. It’s like our collective ego and emotions are one. For that brief moment, they agree. They see things clearly. We are all able to absorb the energy of Gemini and what the sign asks of us with more vigor that we’d normally feel. And there’s one more piece to this puzzle that I haven’t mentioned just yet. Not only are the Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Mercury all in Gemini. But Venus is as well. And Venus’ placement provides us with insight that is inescapable. At the exact moment of conjunction, Venus will be in a near perfect conjunction with both planets as well.
This New Moon wants us to find peace. With Venus in the mix, I believe we are being called to open our minds so that we may begin to find peace. I believe we are being asked to look at those around with curious eyes, rather than judgmental eyes. We have all been through so much in these last few years. We have become hardened and stuck in our ways. We have looked at those we don’t understand and continued to stick our heels further down. I believe that during this year, we are in pivotal place. A place where it’s important that we all begin to heal. And I believe this New Moon in Gemini gives us all a smaller glimmer of an opportunity to manifest something new for what this year will bring. A new way of thinking. A new way of being. An open-mindedness that we never imaged before or a shifting of perspective that comes to us as a whisper in the wind.
Gemini’s most powerful tool is it’s ability to listen. So right now…open your ears and listen. Ask with no judgement, and with child-like curiosity, what you are supposed to hear. That is the key to manifesting with this Gemini New Moon

Gemini New Moon Ritual:
Find a quiet place where you can be by yourself or a chosen group of friends. Gemini is a very social sign, so it’s a great ritual to do with others
Bring in Air Energy. This can mean doing your ritual outside or bringing in something that represents Air, such as a feather, incense, burning herbs or circulating air
Journal. Gemini is ruled by Mercury the messenger god and so writing down our thoughts is an excellent way to work with this Moon.
Set a New Moon Intention and keep it somewhere safe. Remember to go back to it during the Gemini Full Moon in December.
